Welcome to the Charles County Citizen Notification Service (CNS). This is a free service that allows citizens to receive timely notifications about events and activities throughout the county. Charles County is dedicated to keeping its citizens informed and wants to ensure good communication. We would like to encourage all citizens to take advantage of this free service and stay informed about what is important to you and your family. If you would like to subscribe to any of our notifications, please register and select the notification you would like to receive. Notifications can be sent in either email and/or text form to your computer or cell phone.
When registering for CNS, you can customize your profile to receive notifications from departments or select areas within the county which interest you. Charles County ensures it will not send notifications that users have not requested to receive.
The confidentiality of subscriber information is a priority for Charles County. Charles County does not sell, distribute or release any information provided by users.
The Citizen Notification Service is a free public service notification system. If you decide you no longer want to receive notifications automatically, you can easily “un-subscribe” yourself.
